INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy is likely what you are picturing as you consider starting therapy. Individual therapy is structured in 45-50 minute sessions that range from 1x/week to 1x every few weeks, depending on your presenting concerns and goals. We will meet together, in person initially, for these sessions. I am available and open for telehealth (virtual sessions) as well. Our initial session will take the full hour (60 minutes) and include review of any initial forms.
CONSULTATION
I offer consultation to medical practices, professional groups, and other workplace settings. I offer informational presentations around particular topics, e.g. Motivational Enhancement, Chronic Pain Management, Burnout and Compassion Fatigue. I also offer group or individual therapy or consultation on sleep behaviors including insomnia,nightmares, and anxiety and sleep.
GROUP THERAPY
Group therapy consists of several individuals (usually 3-8) and one or two therapists. Group therapy is focused around a particular shared topic amongst participants. These groups can be structured more like a class, which is called psychoeducation, or can be structured in a more participatory style. In the structured classes, the group functions as a way to learn information and gain specific knowledge and skills in relation to the topic. In a participatory class, group members also learn from and share with one another. As groups are offered, you can find them here.
